During the 60-minute session, Lora Wanner and I shared an important conversation between general education and special education case manager in regards to testing accommodations in the Spanish 1 classroom. Web 2.0 and the communicative world language classroom. This full-day extension workshop examined the communicative language classroom and the use of Web 2.0 tools with the lens of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPCK) set. Workshop participants will use the collaborative Moodle course to share the ideas with WL teachers in their region. An 85-minute presentation was delivered to the membership of the MN Council on the Teaching of Languages and Cultures on how to collaborate online at its new digital professional learning community, the OWL environment. Topics uncovered included its foundation, navigation and application. The workshop-style session allowed for participants to use the tool in the computer lab at the Minnesota Council on the Teaching of Languages and Cultures Fall Conference, Eagan, MN. Boeckers, D. (2008). Enhancing the WL classroom. A 2-hour workshop for teachers of second language in Southwest Minnesota that showcased Skype, Freecorder, Intel Visual Organizer, and Moodle. A 60-minute presentation was given to probationary teachers in our district regarding rubric design.
